About Us
 Team members have come together to create the truequeerlove.com community archive and forum. It has emerged from a variety of discussions of current challenges within the fandom for readers, graphic artists and writers alike. The truequeerlove forum has run happily for quite a few years with minimal drama and members happy, thus leaving all involved feeling positive.   The team who have created the new truequeerlove.com are the EvilBitchClub (EBC). This is the very fond title given by Alex, Rena’s husband in a live Skype conversation and it stuck, much to his amusement. The EBC are Gerri, Jessica, Nickie and Rena. Throughout the fandom including LJ, archives and forums we are also known as:  Gerri would be me! I am an Early Childhood Teacher, mother of two, wife to an extremely understanding husband and submissive to Rena ( elyxer). I became involved with the fandom while looking for QAF’s S2 start dates here in Australia where I reside and my life has never been the same *grins*. My passion is firstly my children, my husband and Rena, my sissie (Jessica), my family (both by birth and choice) and lastly, all other children who do not have the power or voice in this world to have what they deserve by right. I dabble in writing and love to read fanfic, but my favourite thing about the fandom is the wonderful people I have met from all over the globe. Oh and I can’t forget Jackson, my gorgeous, ridiculously spoilt dog whom I cherish. As for the sparkles, someone else will have to explain that *smiles*.  Jessica has a drive to constantly improve. She is currently studying at college, works in a job that she has magically not yet massacred all employees or customers and is a fanfic writer, as well as reader. Most importantly she is my sissie and is the most knowledgeable person I know, equalled only by my husband. Jessica also has a spoilt pooch, Gracey, and I believe she is as guilty as me when it comes to her care *smiles*. Jessica and Gracey currently make their home in New Hampshire, America and no doubt the country is better for it. It amazes me to this day how resilient and strong she is, wrapped up in a bow of witty sarcasm. Jessica tells it how it is. If you don’t want to know, don’t ask her. Simple *hugs sissie*.  Nickie is the most successful and awesome person I know at anything she does (no pressure there cuz, lol). She has a talent for graphics and producing that is quite outstanding. Thus, she spends endless hours poring over pictures of Brian and Justin and sometimes she makes graphics with them *grins*. Nickie is to be blamed for the images, graphics and layout of the new TQL and for this we shall all bow to her repeatedly (I said bow!). Nickie lives in Sweden, has a loving family and is a very busy person, but somehow always has time for me…woops, I mean for all those other important people in her life *grins*. Nickie is very well known for her talents and I am grateful for all her hard work in setting up the community. *Pretties = Graphics  Rena is…hmmm, this could get messy… the wisest person I know. She is an extremely talented writer and we have all been lucky enough to have gotten to see that in her fanfiction. If you haven’t as yet…are you nuts? Where have you been, *lol*? She has been involved in a lot of fandom communities so her input is priceless. Rena has a wonderful family and is blessed with three children, a husband, a pony boy and me *giggles*. Rena is and always will be an American South Carolina girl at heart but now lives in the United Kingdom. Rena is our strength behind the scenes and will be our minder of sorts…*glares* so watch out, she is the Head Bitch in charge of Pain after all! Lol. (Tongues firmly placed in cheeks) We are a very tightly knit group of friends and family by choice. We have known each other for some time, years in fact. We are all members from the original truequeerlove forum as well as many other forums, archives and communities. I know for a fact that the EBC are all intelligent, albeit a slightly crazy group and due to many enjoyable memories, conversations and challenges feel we can provide a great community for the benefit of all. We all hope you enjoy the site and look forward to many future years with not just a fandom, but a community. /Gerri.  |
